Get enough sleep. Sleep is not a luxury it's a crucial part of being a human. Lack of sleep can make you feel anxious, more likely to be unable to lose weight, and plain old grumpy to everyone you interact with. Try getting a full 6-8 hours each night and see how much better you feel.

Stay focused. It's easy to get distracted from goals by life events and circumstances, but if you stay focused on your goal, you will reach your goal no matter what. So many people let their dreams fall by the wayside. Don't let that happen to you. Keep your focus at all costs.

Share your time and your belongings with others and feel wealthy and rich. When you give of yourself to others that need it, you begin to appreciate what you have and feel proud of what you have to offer other people. Giving to people who don't have what you do also helps them. It's a win-win situation for all.

To make sure you stick to your goals, develop a plan and write it down. You are more likely to complete goals when they are written down on paper. A checklist is a superb idea, because you can check off your goals as you complete them. Visibly seeing what you have accomplished builds confidence and allows you to tackle tough tasks.

Envision success. If you can see yourself succeeding within a reasonable range, you are more apt to succeed. If you can imagine yourself performing a task well, then imagine yourself celebrating your success, you will have less performance anxiety and it positive thinking will help you reach your goals.
